On March 14 The State of Connecticut General Assembly issued an official citation recognizing the Southington Land Conservation Trust for 50 years of dedicated service to the town of Southington. State Representative Chris Poulos presented this honor to members at the March monthly meeting.
Izaak Walton League, who manages Winter Salt Watch on a national scale, has released a review of the season.
